As of Windows 11, a message may soon appear in the system tray when you are connected to a VPN, allowing you to confirm that you are connected if you prefer anonymous browsing.
Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) make it possible to surf the Internet without being traced. Unfortunately for companies, this location-insensitive technology is useless to them because they cannot monitor their customers’ online activities.
A virtual private network (VPN) is accessible and inexpensive. Some users of Windows 11 “Dev” version 25247 say that a new hidden feature is triggered when a VPN connection is made, causing a little shield icon to appear on top of the Network system tray icon. For the time being, only Windows Insiders can access it.
It’s not known when this feature will be usable. Keep a look out.
