In 2007, Apple released the first iPod touch, which was an instant success among consumers who desired the iPhone form factor but didn’t care for cellular connectivity. But recently, Apple confirmed that it will no longer produce the iPod touch. The business claims that the product will only be sold on a “while supplies last” basis.
According to 9to5Mac, “The current seventh-generation iPod touch was introduced in 2019. It’s powered by an A10 Fusion chip that first debuted in the iPhone 7. It features a 4-inch display and is available in an array of colors. This, however, will be the end of the iPod touch.”
Even though the iPod was popular, it will no longer be part of Apple’s lineup.
