Yesterday, June 15th, Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 Internet Explorer 11. The browser launched back in August 24, 1995.
Although Internet Explorer 11 compatibility will continue to be supported on Windows Server 2022 or older OS editions that have a long-term service upgrade, most users will no longer receive software upgrades after this point. Now, it will be directed to Edge.
According to Bleeping Computer, “After finally reaching its end of life, the Internet Explorer desktop application will be disabled. It will be replaced with the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge, with users automatically redirected to Edge when launching IE11.”
