The multi-year agreement with Microsoft added that AT&T will provide most of their employees with Microsoft 365 cloud-based tools and security services. Also, they’ll be working on the non-network infrastructure applications on Microsoft Azure. This essential coalition comes with a more than $2 million deal, according to CNBC.
The Microsoft News Center adds that charity is part of this collaboration. “In addition to their technology collaboration, AT&T and Microsoft will work together on technology-enabled approaches and solutions aimed at social good. Both companies have been focused on addressing sustainability, accessibility, and community challenges such as homelessness and see an opportunity to support each other’s work to address urgent social needs, including Microsoft’s affordable housing initiative and the AT&T Believes campaign.”
