Upgrade to Windows 11 now or wait longer?

Windows 11 is the latest operating system from Microsoft, first released in 2022. This updated version of Windows was highly anticipated by the millions of users around the world who have been eagerly waiting for it. In this article, we will take a closer look at Windows 11 and what it has to offer.

First and foremost, Windows 11 is designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly than its predecessors. This is achieved through a new, modern design that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The start menu has been completely overhauled, making it easier to access your most frequently used apps and settings. In addition, Windows 11 will have new customization options, allowing you to personalize the look and feel of your device to suit your style.

One of the key features of Windows 11 is its improved performance. Microsoft has optimized the operating system to run faster and more efficiently on a wide range of devices, including both traditional desktops and laptops, as well as newer devices like 2-in-1s and tablets. The company has also made improvements to the battery life of devices running Windows 11, making it easier to stay productive on the go.

Another major addition to Windows 11 is the integration of virtual and augmented reality technologies. The operating system will support both AR and VR, allowing users to experience new levels of immersion and interactivity. Microsoft has also made it easier to access and use these technologies, with new tools and apps that are specifically designed for VR and AR experiences.

Windows 11 will also bring a number of new security features to keep your device and personal information safe. Microsoft has made improvements to the operating system’s existing security measures, as well as adding new ones. For example, Windows 11 will have built-in antivirus software, a new firewall, and improved encryption to protect your data.

Another major change in Windows 11 is the new Microsoft Store, which will be more than just an app store. The new Microsoft Store will be a central hub for all of your digital content, including apps, games, movies, and more. You will be able to purchase, download, and manage all of your digital content from a single location, making it easier to find what you need and keep your content organized.

In addition to the new features mentioned above, Windows 11 will also have a number of other improvements, including better support for touchscreens, improved multi-tasking capabilities, and new accessibility features to make the operating system more accessible to users with disabilities.

One of the most exciting aspects of Windows 11 is its compatibility with a wide range of devices. Microsoft has designed the operating system to run on both new and older devices, making it accessible to a large number of users. In addition, Windows 11 will be available on a wide range of devices, including desktops, laptops, 2-in-1s, tablets, and even smartphones.

Finally, it is important to note that Windows 11 will be a free upgrade for many users. Microsoft has announced that the operating system will be free for users who currently have Windows 10 installed on their devices. This means that millions of users around the world will be able to upgrade to Windows 11 without having to pay anything.

In conclusion, Windows 11 is shaping up to be a major update to the Windows operating system. With its new features, improved performance, and increased accessibility, Windows 11 promises to offer users a better and more efficient experience. Whether you are a traditional desktop user, or you are looking for a more mobile solution, Windows 11 has something to offer for everyone.

On November 30, 2022, Microsoft released an out-of-band update for Windows 10 with the intention of improving the experience of performing a fresh installation of versions 2004, 21H2, 21H1, and 22H2.

It enables Windows 11 to run on devices that are suitable and is known as an out of the box experience. This one can be accessible again after an OOBE update has been installed, but only then.

Upcoming VPN Feature on Windows 11

As of Windows 11, a message may soon appear in the system tray when you are connected to a VPN, allowing you to confirm that you are connected if you prefer anonymous browsing.

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) make it possible to surf the Internet without being traced. Unfortunately for companies, this location-insensitive technology is useless to them because they cannot monitor their customers’ online activities.

A virtual private network (VPN) is accessible and inexpensive. Some users of Windows 11 “Dev” version 25247 say that a new hidden feature is triggered when a VPN connection is made, causing a little shield icon to appear on top of the Network system tray icon. For the time being, only Windows Insiders can access it.

It’s not known when this feature will be usable. Keep a look out.

Changing Start Menu’s Location on Windows 11

Some users may object to the fact that the Start button and taskbar icons are now centered in Windows 11. Thankfully, this can be remedied.

The Start menu can be shifted to its usual location in the lower-left corner of the display. Simply right-click on the taskbar and pick Taskbar settings.

Click the expand button inside the Taskbar Behaviors section to expand it. The Taskbar will be moved to the left side of the screen as a result.

Downgrading Back to Windows 10

There are many new and improved features in Windows 11, and the OS may also be customized to your liking in terms of its look and feel.

If you install Windows 11 and find that you don’t like it, you may always revert to a previous version. You can use this function for free for the first 10 days after upgrading to Windows 11, however after that it will no longer be available.

You won’t be able to access it again after that time has passed. While you’re still in the trial period, you can use Recovery to rapidly roll back to a previous version of Windows 10. Even though the trial time hasn’t ended yet, you can use this function.

Reinstalling the program is all it takes to get back to a previous version so you can use it if you’ve been locked out of this feature.

Gaming Issues on Windows 11

Several players have complained that their games have slowed down since installing the latest Windows 11 OS upgrade. Both stuttering and other glitches cause them difficulty.

It’s possible that this speed drop is the result of some apps and games mistakenly activating GPU performance debugging tools.

Microsoft has yet to fix this issue in the latest update, thus it is strongly advised that you wait to install it.

Removing Icons on Desktop

One of the quickest and easiest methods to free up space and boost Windows 10’s performance is to get rid of the icons cluttering your desktop.

In Windows 10, you can quickly and easily clear your desktop of icons with only a few clicks. It’s as simple as right-clicking an icon on the Windows 10 desktop and selecting “Delete” from the context menu.

An additional shortcut involves simply dragging the icon to the trash can and releasing it there. Take it out of the recycling bin if you really want to get rid of it. Doing so will allow you to succeed.

Using Windows 11’s streamlined “Applications” folder, you can get this done in no time. Any app, past or present, from the Microsoft Store can be displayed on your desktop.

New Processor Compatibilities on Windows 11

The rigorous system requirements of Windows 11 and Microsoft’s insistence on using only the most recent hardware earned widespread criticism even before the operating system was made available to the public.

According to Windows Latest, many PCs will not be able to acquire an official transition to Windows 11 from previous Windows operating systems. Windows 11 receives regular updates that improve its compatibility with newly released processors, but Microsoft has stated that it would not bring back support for older models.

Rumors say that now Intel’s 13th-gen processor is supported, along with the AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series.

Because of it’s required, Windows 11 doesn’t have many users.
