Recently discovered problems with rebooting virtual drives through the Server Manager control panel have been acknowledged by Microsoft, and the company has issued a warning to that effect.

According to Bleeping Computer, this vulnerability might cause data corruption if administrators try to reset (or clean) a virtual drive and accidentally reset the wrong disk. Errors may pop up in the process.

This may cause issues with Windows Server 2019 and 2022, and Windows 11 22H2.

What is SAC?

According to Microsoft, the capacity of Smart App Control to terminate potentially dangerous or otherwise unreliable applications enables an effective defense against new and unanticipated threats.

With the SAC, potentially undesirable programs, such as those that cause your device to run more slowly or carry out other unexpected actions, can be prevented from spamming your PC.

The Windows 11 Snipping Tool will soon be enhanced with a screen recorder feature.

According to XDA, this functionality is included right into the Snipping Tool, so you can easily record any portion of the screen to share with others without installing a separate software.

After being made available as a standalone update at the end of October, it will be rolled into the November Patch Tuesday patches. The Windows Insiders are the first to get access to the testing build.

It’s more probable that you’ll run into issues after upgrading to Windows 11 through Windows Update if you haven’t been warned against doing so. The rollout of the upgrade started on September 20; however, the corporation is implementing it in phases, so it is not yet available to all users.

As a first step, 22H2 will be implemented exclusively on relatively recent and stable devices and infrastructure that can be updated without much trouble.

When it’s determined that a sizable number of machines can safely get the update, it will be distributed. The age of the gadget, its dependability rating, whether or not it is compatible with the hardware, etc. could be factors.

The most recent version of Windows 11, codenamed 22H2 or Windows 11 version 2022, is a small improvement over prior editions.

According to reports, Windows 10 is the most popular desktop operating system. When Windows 11 was introduced last year, some Windows 10 customers upgraded. Some did, but the great majority did not. However, many people did not upgrade to Windows 11 since it was insufficiently stable for their purposes.

Windows 11’s taskbar, for example, lacks key personalization tools included in Windows 10. Drag-and-drop functionality has been restored in Windows 11 version 22H2, and chat programs now have a separate mute button.

There isn’t much information about the new update’s features and functioning. Microsoft has not shown the final version of Windows 11 22H2 yet.

Thankfully, you won’t have to upgrade from Windows 10, as the operating system will be maintained until 2025.
